Bhel Trichy executive director sees positive outlook in Indian power sector

TRICHY: There is a positive outlook in the Indian power sector, said Bhel Trichy Complex executive director S M Ramanathan on Wednesday.

"Both Bhel and the business partners must gear up to utilize the capacity to deliver quality products in time," Ramanathan said while speaking at a business partners meeting for Bhel Trichy’s outsourcing vendors. The meeting was held at Sir C V Raman Centre in Bhel Kailasapuram township. More than 200 vendor representatives from across Tamil Nadu participated in the event.

Underlining the importance of quality and timely delivery, Ramanathan called on all the vendors to innovate and improvise on all their operations to ensure delivery of products with reduced cycle time and optimum cost.

He called for continuous improvement in delivery schedule and quality of products and services to sustain the growth momentum.

B Sanjeevi, general manager, outsourcing, said the meet was organised not only to sensitize various vendors by giving an insight about the current business scenario and challenges but also to ensure mutual understanding of each other’s responsibility in project execution.
