11 ganja peddlers held in Trichy

Trichy: Police arrested 11 ganja peddlers in Trichy district on Saturday and recovered about a kilogram of the contraband from them. The seizure happened when Cantonment police conducted patrolling to nab the peddlers. The team arrested K Santhoshkumar, 37, of Ramji Nagar and seized 110 gram of the contraband he was carrying for sale.
While E Puthur police arrested a 63-year-old man of Ramji Nagar, Airport police arrested a 32-year-old man and Srirangam police, a 19-year-old.Fort Station police, Gandhi Market police, and Palakkarai police arrested a 22-year-old, and men aged 61 and 24 respectively while they were selling ganja. Thillai Nagar, Woraiyur and Enforcement Prohibition Wing police also arrested four people on charges of possessing the contraband on Saturday. tnn
