Two Kerala youths killed in Dubai road accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two youths, hailing from Kerala and were pursuing studies in foreign universities, died in a road accid1ent in Dubai on Thursday. The deceased students — Rohit Krishnakumar (19), and Sharat Kumar (21) — lived in Dubai and were on a holiday break. Kumar is the son of Anand Kumar and Rajasree Prasad, residents of Kuravankonam. He was pursuing International Relations at Boston University and came to visit his mother who is employed in Dubai.
The mortal remains will be brought home on Friday. Cremation will be held at 5pm on the house premises. Rohit’s family hails from Pattambi and are settled in Ernakulam. The accident occurred after their car rammed into a tree at Jebel Ali in the early hours on Wednesday morning.
