Thiruvananthapuram: Two men were arrested twice at

Kilimanoor

in a span of few hours after causing nuisance under the influence of alcohol.
The arrests of Mahesh, 32, of

Koduvazhanoor

and Ajith, 34, of Pulimath were recorded at Kilimanoor police station. Both men are habitual offenders, involved in several crime cases, said police.
The two men committed the second crime soon after they were let go on bail in the first case related to causing nuisance in the public, said police. However, they were remanded in judicial custody by the court in the second case as it involved house trespass and vandalism of property.
Kilimanoor sub-inspector

Vijith Kumar

said that Mahesh and Ajith were taken into custody on Sunday night after they were found causing nuisance in a public place at Pulimath under the influence of alcohol.
Later, the police granted them bail and let them go. But, the accused went to the house of a youth with whom they held a grudge and vandalized his motorcycle that was parked in front of the house by smashing it with stones, allegedly at around 11pm on Sunday. tnn
