SFI-ABVP clash: 2 houses vandalized

Residences of RSS Karyavahak Shyam Mohan at Avanavancheri and SFI state president Vineesh at Idakkode are the ones that were attacked. Attingal police have registered two separate cases in connection with the attacks.
According to the police, the first attack was reported around 11pm on Tuesday in the house of RSS Karyavahak Shyam Mohan. According to the complainant, a group of armed assailants barged into the house and physically assaulted his father and mother. They also vandalized the electronic appliances such as refrigerator, mixer grinder and furniture inside the house. An estimated loss of Rs 1.5 lakh was reported in the attack.
The second attack targeted at Vineesh’s house occurred around 2am on Wednesday. According to the statement, the assailants barged into the house kicking open the front door and vandalized properties inside the house, including LED TV, fan and furniture. Attingal police inspector O A Sunil said that both parties have named a few persons as suspects. tnn
