Satheesh Bino to take over as Ekm DIG, Thomson Jose to be T’puram CP

Thiruvananthapuram: In a significant reshuffle within the state police, Thomson Jose was appointed as commissioner of police for Thiruvananthapuram city, while Narayanan T was posted as commissioner of police for Kozhikode city.Nidhinraj P was appointed as commissioner of police for Kannur city, moving from his previous role as district police chief for Kozhikode rural. Yathish Chandra G H was promoted to serve as deputy inspector general of police for Kannur range. Hari Sankar was promoted to the position of deputy inspector general of police for Thrissur range, and Satheesh Bino will assume the charge of DIG Ernakulam range. Additionally, Kiran Narayanan was transferred from her role as district police chief for Thiruvananthapuram rural to serve as commissioner of police for Kollam city. Sudarsan K S will take over as district police chief for Thiruvananthapuram rural after serving as deputy commissioner of police (law and order and traffic) in Kochi city.Other notable appointments include Arul R B Krishna, who moved from his position as aide-de-camp to the governor to become superintendent of police for Railways, and Ajit Kumar, who transitions from commissioner of police for Kannur city to district police chief for Palakkad. Ankit Asokan was transferred to the role of superintendent of police for cyber operations.The reshuffle also sees G Poonguzhali appointed as assistant inspector general of police (personnel), while Chaitra Teresa John will take on the role of assistant inspector general of police for coastal police after serving as commissioner of police for Kollam city. Anand R was transferred to the role of deputy commissioner of police for VIP security, holding additional responsibilities as commandant of armed police battalions (headquarters) and deputy inspector general of police for armed police battalions.
