Raids at Panur after bomb attack

KANNUR: Police were conducting extensive raids in and around Panur area near here where a circle inspector was seriously injured in a bomb attack by suspected CPM activists on Monday night.
Ten persons have been taken into custody in connection with the bomb attack and search operations are continuing on suspected hideouts.
Panur CI, Abdul Hameed, was injured when miscreants hurled country bombs at him when he was chasing a mob at Palakool.He is recovering in hospital.
