National Seminar on Urdu Ghazal from March 22

KOZHIKODE: Eminent scholars from all over the country will participate in a national seminar on Urdu Ghazal to be held here from March 22.
The two-day seminar, organised by the Department of Urdu of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS), would be held in four sessions dealing with various aspects of Urdu Ghazal, Saffiya Bee, Head of the Department, Urdu, SSUS, told reporter here on Wednesday.
Abdusamad Samadani, MP, Convenor, Parliamentary Sub-Committee for University and Higher Education, will present the inaugural address.
Those who would participate in the seminar include Mohammed Zahid, Aligarh University, Irthiza Kareem, Delhi University, Muzzaffar Shahmiri, SV University, Tirupati and Syed Sajjad Hussain, University of Madras.
