Man arrested with MDMA

Thiruvananthapuram: The city police arrested a youth with MDMA, a narcotic substance, here on Monday. The arrested person was identified as Sivaprasad, 27, a resident of MLA Road in Manacaud. Poonthura police arrested him with the help of the city special action group against organized crime.
Narcotic ACP Sheen Tharayil received a tip-off that he was selling MDMA and synthetic drugs to students in the city.He was under police surveillance. The police nabbed him when he turned up to sell drugs at MLA Road at Manacaud. City police commissioner said that probe is on to detect the source of drugs and his other transactions.
