KU VC's son killed in road accident

THIRUVANNATHAPURAM: The son of Kerala University vice-chancellor P K Radhakrishnan was killed on Monday after he was run over by a KSRTC bus. The deceased, Hari R Krishnan (20), of Flat No 8, Sree Dhanya Apartments, Sreekaryam, was riding his bike from Kesavadasapuram to Ulloor when he was knocked down and run over by the bus on Ulloor bridge. He was a third year BTech student of Mar Baselios College of Engineering, Nalanchira.
According to police, the accident occurred at 6.55pm. Both the bike and the bus were going in the same direction. The bus knocked him down from behind and ran over his head. Though he was rushed to the Medical College Hospital nearby, the doctors declared him dead on arrival. TNN
