THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KPCC has finally sent the list of probable candidates for the four assembly seats to which bypolls has been scheduled on October 21.
The A and I groups have decided to exchange the Aroor and Konni seats to settle the uncertainty that was prevailing in the candidate selection. After two-day long discussion it has been decided that Shanimol Usman will contest from Aroor and former district president of Pathanamthitta and A group leader P Mohanraj will contest from Konni.
Already consensus has been reached in the party that K Mohan Kumar will be contesting from Vattiyoorkavu and T J Vinod from Ernakulam seats.
The AICC leadership is expected to declare the names of the candidates officially on Saturday.
The last date for filing nominations is September 30. Voting to all five bypolls will be held on 21 October and the counting will be on 24 October.
