Janani Nischitha joins Santhigiri Ashram board

T'puram: Janani Nischitha Jnana Thapaswini was elected to board of directors of Santhigiri Ashram. The decision was made during the board meeting held on Tuesday. She was serving as the head of Santhigiri Healthcare Research Organization and as manager of Santhigiri Siddha Medical College when this new responsibility came to her. With this appointment, the ten-member board now includes six women.Janani Nishchitha is a disciple who grew under the devoted guidance of Ashram's founder Guru, Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru. She was born on March 9, 1979, in her pre-ashram life as Ranjini in Kottarakkara. On July 16, 1999, she received initiation into renunciation (Sannyasa Deeksha) from Guru and was given the name Janani Nishchitha Jnana Thapaswini. TNN
