HC advises status quota on temple poll

kochi: the kerala high court on saturday directed the travancore devaswom board to maintain status quo for three weeks with regard to the temple advisory committee election under it. election should be held in the meanwhile, a division bench comprising justice v p mohankumar and justice k k denesan held when a petition by c r gopinathan nair and three others of tiruvala came up before the bench.the petitioners had sought a direction to approve and implement the draft by-law governing the constitution and functioning of the temple advisory committees.
