Govt to allocate land for material collection facilities

Thiruvananthapuram: The cabinet on Wednesday decided to allocate govt land for the construction of material collection facilities (MCF) in all the local self-govt bodies in the state. Each case will be considered individually.
The cabinet also ratified the waiver of stamp duty and registration fees for providing certified copies of lost or destroyed documents and liability certificates to the survivors of Wayanad landslides.
Relaxation in land
ceiling: Rajagiri Healthcare and Charitable Trust in Ernakulam will be given relaxation in land ceiling for hospital development as per land reform laws.
Tender approved: The tender for works related to the improvements of the Alappuzha Mannancherry Perumthuruthikkari paddy field, approved under the NABARD RDF scheme, was accepted by the cabinet.
Ente Keralam portal: The proposal submitted by C-DIT to launch the ‘Ente Keralam' portal under the information and public relations department with financial assistance from KIIFB, and to form a special strategy and communication team for one year, was approved by the cabinet.
