However chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan after the review meeting of the rapid response team made it clear that till date no community spread has been reported anywhere in the state. The government has geared up its machineries anticipating a community spread, he said.
The total number of people who are under observation in the state are 64,320 of which 383 people are admitted in the designated isolation wards of various hospitals. Of the 4291 samples sent for testing 2987 have been tested negative.
The chief minister said the government has decided to impose certain strict restrictions in Kasargod district since more people are being tested positive.
The government has also decided to set up one hospital each in all the districts exclusively for Covid-19. For this the health department has started finalizing which hospital can be converted into Covid-19 hospitals. The district administration will be in charge of these hospitals.

, one positive patient reported from Kannur also has been discharged. Kasarogd district has been hit worse with 19 more cases turning positive. With this 38 people have been tested positive from the district.The total number of people who are under observation in the state are 64,320 of which 383 people are admitted in the designated isolation wards of various hospitals. Of the 4291 samples sent for testing 2987 have been tested negative.
