City-based startup partners with British Nobel laureate

Thiruvananthapuram: In a first, Technopark-based career management startup Lifology has roped in British Nobel laureate Richard J Roberts, for charting out the framework for its future curriculum that aims to provide scientific and comprehensive career guidance to all.A biochemist and molecular biologist, Roberts was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1993 with Phillip Allen Sharp for discovering introns in eukaryotic DNA and the mechanism of gene-splicing.Lifology chief innovation officer, Rahul Easwar and Roberts signed the MoU in this regard. Roberts, who is known for his pioneering work in genetics and medicine, will contribute his deep understanding of human genes and their impact on human nature to Lifology's platform. The integration of his scientific expertise into career management will enable Lifology to provide the most futuristic and comprehensive mentoring to individuals.Lifology CEO, Praveen Parameswar, said, "We are incredibly honoured to welcome Richard Roberts to the Lifology family.
