Chittoor court sentences murder case accused to 11 yrs imprisonment
TIRUPATI: The 1st ADJ court at Chittoor sentenced a murder case accused to undergo 11 years imprisonment after he was proved guilty during the trial.
According to the Chittoor police, Veeresh (30), a resident of Raichur district in Karnataka, migrated to Chittoor in search of work and settled down here as a labourer at a construction site.
On May 1 last year, he entered into a brawl in a drunk state with another labourer identified as Vemula Ramulu.

And in a fit of rage, Veeresh hit Ramulu with a thick stick on his head and the victim died on the way to the hospital.
Chittoor CI Maddaiahchari and his team arrested Veeresh following a complaint lodged by the deceased's wife Sayamma on May 2nd.
As charges against Veeresh were proved by the prosecution during the trial, the Chittoor court sentenced him to 11 years imprisonment on Thursday.
Chittoor SP Y Rishanth Reddy appreciated the efforts of CI Maddaiahchari and his team for their efforts.
