NEW DELHI: The Kerala government has officially rescheduled the Bakrid (Id-ul-Ad'ha) holiday to Saturday, June 7, 2025, following confirmation that the festival will be celebrated across the state on that date.

According to a revised notification, all government offices, public sector undertakings, educational institutions including professional colleges, and institutions under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, will remain closed on June 7.

Earlier, the holiday was declared for Friday, June 6, but it will now be treated as a regular working day across the state.
