Anna adjudged best teleserial

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Anna </span>directed by Azhagappan aired on ''Kairali TV'' was chosen the best teleserial for the year 2002 while the late actor Ratheesh was selected best actor and Kaveri the best actress for their performance in the serial in the Kerala government''s television awards announced here on Monday.<br /><br /><span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Sundarikalum Sundaranmarum</span>, by Ali Akbar was chosen the second best teleserial, while <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Vilolam</span>, by Saji Surendran (Soorya TV) was adjudged the best telefilm. <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Sooryakanthi </span>directed by Sherry was selected the second best telefilm.<br /><br />Mohan was adjudged the best director for his film on Kairali TV titled `Sayahna swapnangal,'' while the late scriptwriter G Lal got the award for screenplay for his works <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Aazham </span>and `<span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Vilolam</span>.''<br /><br />Siddique was named the best supporting actor for his role in `Vilolam'' amd Manju Pillai was chosen the best supporting actress for the performance in `Sundarikalum Sundaranmarum.''<br /><br />Other awardees are: N K Raveendran, Anjana (Newsreader: Asianet, Kairali), Chanthu, Aparna (Compere: Asianet), Krishnakumaran Thampi (commentator, Doordarshan), Ambikasuthan Mangad (script: Kairali), Baby Neeraja (child artiste) and Rajesh (cinematography).</div> </div>
