Youth congress workers

on Saturday protested in Kalyan against the attack on party Vice President Rahul Gandhi's convoy in Gujarat.

The Congress workers gathered at

Gandhi check in Kalyan

(East) where they protested.

The protest march was led by Kalyan Youth Loksabha president Avinash Tiwari and senior leader Shailesh Tiwari. The protesters raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Gandhi's car was stoned in

Gujarat's Banaskantha

on Friday while he was on a tour of flood-affected areas. The Congress leader was not hurt but his

personal security officer

was hurt in the stoning.
