Thane woman robbed of her gold chain

THANE: A 51 year-old woman was robbed of her gold chain by bike-borne thieves in Kalwa area.
The victim who is a resident of Nature glory phase-1 apartment in Parsik nagar set out for a walk at around 8.30 am. As she started to walk from the complex and was going outside her building she spotted two bike -borne robbers were waiting outside the gate, without realising that they could be thieves.She turned towards left towards road; the duo came from the back side, snatched the chain and fled away. The gold chain was worth Rs70000.
An offence has been registered at Kalwa police station under section 392 of Indian Penal Code and the police said that so far none is arrested in the case.
