Thane relaxes Covid-19 restriction: Check timings of shops, salons and gardens
THANE: After the Maharashtra government relaxed
For over two weeks, Thane city has seen a huge drop in Covid-19 cases. The city is now left with 575 active cases.
In the order, the TMC said that essential shops will remain open on all days till 10 pm. Earlier, the deadline was till 4 pm on weekdays.
Whereas, other shops and establishments will remain open from Monday to Saturday till 10 pm. However, shopping malls will continue to remain shut. Medicals and chemist shops will remain open on all days.
The civic said that gyms, yoga classes, salons, beauty parlours will be allowed to remain open with 50 per cent capacity till 10 pm from Monday to Saturday, and will remain shut on Sunday.
Public gardens and grounds will remain open only from 5 am to 9 am only for workouts, walking, running and cycling.
The cinema halls, multiplexes and all religious places will remain shut till further order.
Apart from that, for weddings, only 50 people will be allowed and 20 people can attend funerals.
Restaurants can function with 50 per cent capacity till 4 pm from Monday to Saturday. However, the parcel facility will remain open on all days as per the rules.
E-commerce will continue to function, while public transport will run with 100 per cent sitting capacity. However, a standing commute will not be allowed.
