THANE: Iqbal Kaskar, brother of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim, was admitted to the government-run JJ Hospital in Byculla after he complained of chest pain on Saturday, Thane Central jail superintendent Harshad Ahirrao said on Sunday.
Doctors at the JJ hospital said, he was admitted on Sunday evening, for chest pain and his condition was stable. He is most likely to go for advanced tests on Monday.
"Kaskar had complained of chest pain on Saturday morning following which we sent him for a routine check-up at JJ Hospital.
He was to be discharged on Sunday but the doctors admitted him for a complete check-up. We will wait for his medical report and will take further steps accordingly," Ahirrao said.
