Thane honour killing case: Court extends police custody

KALYAN: The police produced honour killing accused Arvind Tiwari before a Kalyan sessions court on Monday and obtained further police custody for him till December 19.
Tiwari is accused of killing his daughter, Princy, for having been involved in a love affair with a man from another community.
The police are still searching for Princy’s missing head. Tiwari was arrested on Monday last week after an auto driver alerted the police about a bag left by a passenger from which a foul smell was emanating.
Tiwari is believed to have cut up the body and dumped sone of it in the kalyan creek.
