Maharashtra Girls won Gold medal in Table-Tennis by beating Punjab by 3-1in the finals in the 3rd National Inter School Tournament.

Maharashtra Girls won Gold medal in Table-Tennis by beating Punjab by 3-1in the finals in the 3rd National Inter School Tournament organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (Govt. of India) and Sports Authority of India. In the semi finals the girls had beaten Tamil Nadu by 3-0.
The team comprising of Shruti Achawal, Charishma Motwani and jigna Motwani form SES High School (Panchpakhadi), were in their best form at Gurdaspur (Punjab) when they qualified in the league matches defeating Gujrat by 3-0, Haryana by 3-0 and Bihar by 3-0.

These matches were conducted from 24th to 27th of December at Gurdaspur by Directorate of Sports (Punjab).
The Maharashtra boy's team comprising of Kunal Salunke, Atharya Korde and Pratik Rathod also won Gold medals beating the Tamil Nadu team by 3-1 in the finals.
