Thane: Ex-BJP spokesperson Ram Wadhwa threatens to hurl slipper at party MLA

ULHASNAGAR: Former BJP leader from Ulhasnagar, Ram Wadhwa openly threatened BJP MLA Kumar Ailani on social media, blaming him for not working for citizens of Ulhasnagar during this coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Ulhasnagar BJP MLA has broken all promises made during the election period and is unable to help people during a pandemic”.
He further wrote, “He (Ailani) has disappeared to his resort in Lonavala and I warn him to return back to the constituency and help people within 7 days or else we will start throwing chappals on him every day wherever he is seen”.
Upon being asked about the matter, Ailani said, “Wadhwa is lying that I am residing in Lonavala but the reality is that I am daily available for the public in my office at Ulhasnagar and I am also busy arranging oxygen and other beds for Covid-19 patients in the city”.
Ailani added, “Two years ago we removed Wadhwa from party spokesperson's post when he made a false remark against former MLA Pappu Kalani calling him a ‘terrorist’, this is the reason why he is targeting me but I have decided to file FIR against him for openly threatening me”.
