THANE: A magistrate court in Thane on Thursday rejected the bail plea of

Marathi actor Ketki Chitale

. She was arrested for posting derogatory comments against NCP leader Sharad Pawar.

The argument on the plea happened last week, but the court had kept the order reserved till Thursday, said her counsel Yogesh Deshpande.

Presently, Chitale is in judicial custody after the Navi Mumbai police had arrested her in another atrocity case.

Rejecting the bail plea of Ms.Ketki is a gross abuse and criminal violation of her right to life liberty and dignity., idioticall shez being treated and arbitrarily incarcerated like a terrorist for a mere comment on a politician. The same judge won't reject a bail plea of a bjp politician who calls for genocide against Muslims or hate speech.I bet he'll have the guts.Being a lady she becomes a soft target of vested criminal interests of the state powers and judiciary.
