Thane: A 32-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his live-in partner after the minor son of the deceased woman who had stealthily witnessed the incident deposed before the court. In his order on Thursday, the sessions Judge Abhay J Mantri convicted Omprakash Kaul aka Adivasi, and also fined him Rs 30,000.
