Six arrested in a dacoity case at Talasari company

THANE: The Thane rural crime branch has arrested six persons in a dacoity case at an industrial unit in Talasari of Thane district.
PI Kishor Khairnar said, the gang stole copper and nickel metal bars worth Rs 19.93 lakh from the company on April 11, after threatening the owner at knife point. The cops came to know that one Mohammad Umar Shah (32) was involved in such crimes.“He was taken into custody and on grilling, he confessed to the crime,” Khairnar added. The police then arrested his five accomplices. Goods worth Rs 2.52 lakh have been recovered.
