Pregnant woman slips on muddy rain water, foetus hurt

THANE: A Delhi-based 25-year-old pregnant woman, who was on a brief visit to her parent’s house at Nalpada in Kapurbawdi, reportedly slipped and fell in her house thereby injuring her foetus on Tuesday. She slipped due to the muddy water accumulated after the heavy rainfall.
Kanchan Soni, the victim, is under observation at a private hospital and doctors attending to her said the fall had hurt the four-month-old foetus requiring a surgery.
Neighbours rushed to the aid of the woman after she fell and admitted her to a private hospital at Tikujiniwadi.
