Thane: Train ‘thief’ who duped outstation passengers held

A 35-year old man from Null Bazar who allegedly stole their valuables of passengers on outstation trains after befriending them has been arrested by the crime branch of the railway police’s Kalyan unit.

KALYAN: A 35-year old man from Null Bazar who allegedly stole their valuables of passengers on outstation trains after befriending them has been arrested by the crime branch of the railway police’s Kalyan unit.
Last Friday, the accused, Munnawar Khan, had allegedly fled with a passenger’s bag with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh. The cops said he had duped many others earlier.
