MUMBAI: Some restrictions have been lifted in Mira-Bhayander till Friday with grocery shops allowed to be open for six hours.
The region was under complete shutdown from April 20. Grocery shops will remain open from 9am to 3pm till May 8. Vegetables, fruits and meat, will, however, continue to be home delivered from 9am to 11pm.
Milk will be available at dairies from 7am to 11am.

Bakery shops will also remain open from 9 am to 3 pm. Last week, bakeries were allowed to function from 2am to 4am.
Medical shops will remain open as per their regular timings.
Till Sunday evening, six positive cases were reported in the region. A hundred patients have recovered and 71 are under treatment.
Meanwhile, queues were formed outside wine shops that remained shut. Police sources said that they have yet to get an order from the Thane district collector regarding liquor shops. People waiting outside shut shops since morning were urged to return to their homes by the police.
