Medical student complains of ragging in hostel

THANE: An unidentified MBBS student studying at the municipal corporation run- Rajiv Gandhi Medical College (RGMC), Kalwa has accused some of his seniors of ragging at the college hostel last week, officials said. The administration said they have received the complaint and are investigating. No police complaint has been lodged in the incident yet.

Dr Rakesh Barot, Dean of RGMC, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital said, "We were informed on September 8 about the incident by the anti-ragging cell. The identity of the complainant cannot be disclosed. We have initiated a probe in the incident."
