THANE: A 22-year-old food delivery worker lost his life in an accident on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Anjanikumar Mourya, was struck by a truck.
The accident occurred around 7.30 pm near Kopra in the Kharghar area. The truck, reportedly driven by Vikas Patil, collided with Mourya's motorbike, according to local police.
Mourya was immediately taken to the hospital but was declared brought dead upon arrival.
Law enforcement has registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the truck driver, though no arrest has been made yet.
