Saini, who was in Thane on Tuesday evening, directed this 'jalebi' jibe at the Congress, referencing its Gohana jalebi pitch during the Haryana state elections, which it eventually lost.

"The BJP-led NDA will secure a massive victory in the assembly elections. Jalebis will be made and distributed at every seat. The Congress is attempting to replicate its Lok Sabha strategy by spreading a false narrative about the Constitution, but they will not succeed this time," Saini said while addressing the media. He criticized the Congress, alleging it has consistently failed to fulfill its poll promises.

"The Congress made false promises about introducing welfare schemes in Karnataka, Telangana, and even in neighboring Himachal Pradesh two years ago but later made excuses and failed to implement them. This was communicated to voters in Haryana, who ensured the Congress was defeated in the state elections.

The culture of Maharashtra and Haryana is similar, and just as the Congress was driven out of my state, Maharashtra voters will likewise ensure the Congress is routed here," Saini added.
