5 Bangladeshis arrested for illegal stay in Kalyan Dombivli

KALYAN: Police arrested five Bangladeshis from Kalyan-Dombivli. These individuals entered India without any passport or necessary documents and were living illegally in the country.

Four of the arrested individuals were caught in the Gandhi Nagar area of Dombivli, where they were illegally residing in a chawl room near Deshmukh Home. They were arrested by Manpada police in Dombivli, while one Bangladeshi was arrested by Mahatma Phule police near Kalyan railway station.

For the last few days, Thane police launched a campaign against Bangladeshis living illegally in the entire Thane Commissionerate. So far, more than 40 Bangladeshis were caught by the police last month from Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Dombivli, and other places.
