THANE: Three youth have been arrested for allegedly stabbing two of their business competitors as they were poaching their staff by offering higher salaries on Saturday.
The accused have been identified as Jagdish Shinde, Rohit Chavan and Sujit Singh. “Dinesh Vidyagar and Prashant Pathare have been providing staff for catering services for over a decade.
Pathare had apparently poached some of the employees hired by Shinde by paying them higher wages,’’ said Dilip Salunke, police inspector of Wagle Estate. Upset with this, Shinde, along with his friends, stabbed Pathare and Vidyagar. They were rushed to a hospital and are undergoing treatment.
The accused have been remanded to police custody till February 5.
