Will his magic wand bring victory for BJP?
ANKLESHWAR: Till last week Samir Khan was conjuring tricks on the roads of Ankleshwar. The polls came as a windfall when BJP's youth wing president Suresh Patel engaged him to swing his magic wand in favour of the party candidate on Ankleshwar seat Ishwarsinh Patel.
A resident of Nagpur in Maharashtra, Khan has since then been touring Ankleshwar town and adjoining GIDC area while showing his magician's skills to pull the crowds and campaign for the BJP.

The magic he displays revolves around BJP and its party symbol of lotus. He brings out lotus from empty bags and mimics chief minister Narendra Modi while conveying the message, "Modi is a magician who can perform miracles and turn Gujarat into a golden state."
While draining water from his nose and ears he says Modi, too, will bring water to every corner of the state. The articles used by him for performing magic have BJP symbol embossed on them.
According to Suresh Patel, "We found him extremely useful for our campaign and entered into a deal with him."
For Khan it is another assignment helping him earn his bread and butter. "I had heard a lot about Modi and Gujarat. If I get employment, I would like to stay here," he said.
