Surat police chief's car meets with accident

BHARUCH: Surat police commissioner Rakesh Asthanaa's car met with an accident on national highway no. 8 near Narmada Gate Hotel, Ankleshwar, on Thursday evening. He was on his way to Surat with his family. However, only his mother-in-law suffered minor injuries and was allowed to go after first aid. The accident happened around 7 pm. Apparently, the commissoner's car collided with a tanker.Union minister Dr Tushar Chaudhary, too, had met with an accident on this stretch last month.
