Suraj Yadav murder: 2 arrested

Surat: City police arrested two accused on Saturday in connection with the alleged murder of Suraj Yadav (27) outside Surat District and Sessions Court on Friday afternoon. Police arrested Karan Rajput (21) and Dhiraj Rajput (19) for allegedly killing Yadav in broad daylight on a public road. Police claimed that the accused had escaped from the city and were caught from Karjan near Vadodara. Both the accused stabbed Yadav multiple times using knives while cops are now investigating if any other members of their gang are involved. Both the accused have criminal past and have been arrested for their involvement in cases of rioting, attempt to murder among others. After the murder, Karan posted a status message on his social media account announcing that he took revenge for Durgesh Yadav’s murder. Deceased, one of the accused in the murder of Durgesh, had come to the court for hearing on Friday.
