SGCCI, Thai body to sign MoU for trading in coloured stones

SURAT: The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), Gems and Jewellery and Precious Metal Federation of Thailand and Thai Gems and Jewellery Traders Association will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for trading colored stones.
The MoU will be signed during Sparkle -15 organized by SGCCI under the Vibrant Gujarat -2015 at convention center at Sarsana from January 3 to 6 .
Rohit Mehta, former president of SGCCI said, “Thai jewellery industry is known for its exquisite designs. We are looking at cooperation and collaboration so that these designs could be either made in India and jewellery manufactured here or we could also get the training in field of designing.”
