Nisarg Patel, former Ranji player who had bowled the first over to Sachin when he began his first class cricket 27 years ago, said, "There are just 4,000 tickets for sale online. It is a near impossible to get the ticket for the match. I have decided to see the match on television."
Bhavik Patel, former Gujarat Ranji player from the city, said, "Tickets are unavailable and if they are, then they are very costly."
For Sanjay Movaliya of Rajgreen, a real estate group, money is no worry. "I would be there to watch Sachin play the test match. If for some reason I am unable to go, then someone from my family would certainly be there. We have sufficient invitations."
Another person said, "How can you miss his last innings. I along with all my friends will be there in full strength to cheer him up. Though we don't have tickets, we will take a chance and would go to Mumbai."
