ring. All diamonds are certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI),” said Kapadia. “It is the ability of the jewellery manufacturers in Surat to design unique jewellery articles. The diamonds used in the ring have been sourced from the local industry,” he added.

According to Kapadia, the owners of the ring have named it ‘The Marigold’—The Ring of prosperity and that they have no plans to sell it.

On Monday, Harshit Bansal of Renani Jewels, who was in the city, said that that the jewellery manufacturers in Surat have a great talent and they can do impossible things.
