Paresh Patel new chief of BJP city unit

Surat: Paresh Patel has been made the city unit BJP president, replacing Niranjan Zanzmera. Patel, a close confidant of Union jal shakti minister and state BJP chief C R Paatil, is a municipal councillor from Ward 23 (Bamroli Udhna) of SMC.Patel was chairman of the SMC standing committee and was president of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry during 2012-13. He was also a syndicate member of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.He is into textile business. For Surat district, BJP president Bharat Rathod has been repeated. In Navsari district, Bhuralal Shah has been repeated as district unit chief of the party. In Valsad district, Hemant Kansara was repeated as district BJP president.
