‘Namaste India Festival’ to be held today

Surat: Artists from across the country are taking part in ‘Namaste India Festival-2020’ (season-11), which will be held in the city on Sunday. There will be dance,

, comedy and poetry at the festival being organized by city-based Gujarat International Film Festival Society. Renowned sportsperson Pankaj Kapadia will inaugurate the festival.

“First, second and third prizes will be given to winners in different categories. The programmes will start from 3pm on Sunday,’’ said Abhishek Galshar, one of the festival directors.

“Rajiv Gaursingh, Santosh Singh, Pankaj Pathakji (theatre personality) and Bhumika Barot (assistant professor, department of journalism and mass communication, Ahmedabad) will be jury members at the festival, he added.
