Mild tremors felt in Surat

Surat: Mild tremors were felt for about 10 seconds in a few parts of Surat at 8.45 pm on Friday.
Surat district officials stated that the tremors measured 3.5 on the Richter scale.
There were no damages to building or property reportedly from any part of the city.
District collector Dhaval Patel said, “The tremors were not experienced in many parts of the city.”
He also added, “The epicentre has been located 20 km in West-North-west direction.It is not clear exactly where but it looks near or in sea near Olpad.”
