On Sunday, family members of Simpi refused to accept her body until the police takes strict action against her in-laws and husband. They squatted outside the New Civil Hospital throughout the day. Later, some family members of the woman were taken to the police station and a complaint was lodged. When police requested them to accept the body, they demanded immediate arrest.
