SURAT: Police raided a liquor party late on Tuesday night and arrested 10 people, including three women, who were found drunk at a plot in Althan in
Gujarat
's Surat.
The accused were booked in Khatodara police station under various sections of Gujarat Prohibition Act.
Those arrested include
Shailesh Patel,
Viral Patel, Neel Patel,
Pukar Patel
, Pinkesh Patel, his wife
Preeti
,
Pratik Patel
, his wife Jinal,
Jay Patel and his wife Divya.
Police recovered two bottles of scotch whisky along with beer and wine bottles.
Nine mobile phones of the accused and cash, valuables worth Rs 3.68 lakh were also seized.
The accused had gathered at Keshav Party Plot near Pandesara rivulet bridge after a family function.
There was a function in the family of Viral, brother-in-law of Pukar, and as part of celebration, the
booze party
was organised.
Pukar is the owner of the party plot.
