Thanks to the portal, the clothes donated by the kind-hearted people have reached remote villages of Kaprada and Dharmapur talukas in Valsad district.
The online clothing donation portal since August has helped many people to contribute their mite in improving the lives of the needy. The portal has brought happiness to more than 1,600 people of Valsad district.
"We started this to sort out the problem of logistics that is crippling the idea of donation. Maa Foundation is helping us," said a young woman, who floated the idea of online portal and pays for the logistics for every parcel of donation.
'Pick It Please' arranges to pick up a parcel of five clothes or more from anywhere. A reputed courier agency delivers the parcel to Maa Foundation office where the clothes are separated, categorized and tagged. "Our team members make sure that the delivery reaches the right people," said Amit Mehta, CEO of Maa Foundation.
