The checking of the car at Dahej bypass road led to seizure of two revolvers and 600 grams of the white powder. During investigation Rajput informed that he was being framed by some union leaders of the company as he had transferred a few employees to other units."
Police found that the call to the DSP was made from company's assistant manager Parimalsinh Rana's brother-in-law's mobile phone. The SIM card had been purchased just to make the call to the police. The card was subsequently discarded. The investigation found that Rana had allegedly hatched the conspiracy against his own company officer to favour some union leaders. He had taken help of Bilala of Madhya Pradesh who had arranged for the revolvers and the powder for Rs 25, 000.
Police have arrested Rana and Bilala under the Arms Act. Police said Rana had earlier been booked for criminal offences, including attempt to murder at Bharuch taluka police station. Police are further investigating involvement of union leaders in the matter.
